" Although we have never had a coffee at the Kiva Koffee House or have never been inside, we were so impressed when we saw the building heading west on # 12 that we stopped anyway. The gate was open so we drove in & had us a little walk around & I took some photos for our website. It was Friday Nov 16th & we noticed the sign on the door saying you had closed for the season on Oct. 29. Too bad we just missed you.......next time perhaps:)) Sooooooo pretty & so soothing to the soul. Well done Kiva!! Bayfield Bunch.com

" My husband and I enjoy traveling via Harley through the Southwest and it is always a pleasure to come around the curve and see the Kiva waiting there with open arms, even when we come by too early for coffee!
The sage/blueberry muffins are amazing, the coffee is wonderful, the view is georgous and the people...the people are simply the best!!!

" It just so happened we were talking about wanting a good cup of coffee while driving on Hwy 12. And then, just around the next curve in the road, we came across the Kiva coffee house. After a hard stop (there wasn't much notice going eastward on 12), we pulled in and noticed the beautiful styling of the buildings and awesome location on the canyon edge. We spent the next hour and a half sitting outside on the patio taking in an excellent lucnh, great coffee and a view worthy of postcards. My family gives the Kiva Coffee house four thumbs up. We are planning on returning along this route again and will include an overnight stay in one of the cottage rooms as well.
Great Place. " Bill & Marilyn Morgan - California
" It was a chance stop for dinner on a beautiful scenic road and ended up as one of the best memories of a great vacation. Beautiful views, excellent food, and friendly people. I felt more like an honored guest and friend then just the patron of another restaurant. If we are by this way again we will definitely want to stay a night at the cottage. Thanks! " My wife and I were on our way from Bryce to Arches. We knew we would stop at Capital Reef but little did we know that we would stop before that to have a magnificent breakfast. We were unaware of the Kiva Koffeehouse and almost missed it as we drove down 12. We are so glad we were hungry and turned around for a most welcome rest, tasty mocha latte and a fabulous omelet. Thanks for being there and for your hospitality. The experience was very memorable. Good luck to all in this wonderful family run business. Joe and Cindy " joe shutts - kentucky

" Been there 3 times now and as I told you when we had lunch 3 years ago-it is the most beautiful view where I ever had a meal. Your daughter had just come in from her to help out.You should add a picture facing down the valley from the deck and one facing the rounded area to the other side. ( I'll e mail mine if you like )
If I wander that way next few weeks hoping the rooms are open.
Great coffee also.
